... and bring forth a child.Pilgrim Sally Raikes took this lovely picture at the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.
She met this young mother when the rest of the party had already gathered in the hospital chapel. Sally was particularly delighted, as she herself is a retired midwife.
The encounter was just another example of the unexpected gifts that have fallen into many of our laps while on pilgrimage.
